“Our soothing therapy pillows can be used as warm or cool therapy for a variety of breast ailments. The pillows have thicker velour on one side and thinner jersey on the other side. This allows you to better regulate the temperature for the need. Both fabrics are made from renewable bamboo. The pillows are filled with a natural flaxseed which retains both heat and cold temperatures.
Therapy pillows are easy to use. To heat, remove from box and place in the microwave for 20-40 seconds. Be very careful to test the temperature before applying because microwave setting vary. To cool, place them in the freezer or refrigerator.
Our therapy pillows can be heated to stimulate let-down, relieve plugged ducts, and ease the discomfort of mastitis. They can be cooled to reduce swelling and tenderness associated with engorgement, soothe sore nipples, or discomfort from teething or weaning”.
Every time you use the pillows, be sure to use the washable nursing pads as leak protection for the pillows!
Condition: Purchased in preparation for the weaning process, but I never ended up using them!
